After lunch, our local team will take you sightseeing around Kathmandu where you will have the chance to checkout the famous Monkey Temple, Boudhastupa and Pashupati temple. You will be accompanied by a member of our local team who will teach you all about Kathmandu’s rich and diverse history.

There are numerous restaurants in walking distance from the guesthouse where you can go out for dinner. If you wish to try some authentic Nepalese food then you can pick up a meal for around £3. Day 9 and 10 – Heading to Chitwan National Park

we will travel to Chitwan National Park. Over the next two days you’ll explore Nepal’s jungle. The group will go on an elephant back safari. This is the best (and safest) way of searching for game in this park. Though the elephant may make quite a noise pushing its way through the dense jungle the other animals know that it poses them no danger and seem to completely ignore it. If you are lucky you may spot Rhinos, Tigers, Gangetic Dolphins or some of the 450 species of birds.

You’ll also have the chance to visit the elephant stables and bath with the elephants (weather permitting). In the evening we will arrange for you to watch a traditional Tharu indigenous cultural show.

During your time at Chitwan National Park you’ll stay at a guest lodge close to the national park. There is a bar at the lodge where you can hang out in the evenings.

Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 11 and 12 – Travelling to Pokhara City
We’ll take the group on an early morning jungle walk. After breakfast we will make our way to Pokhara. The journey takes around 6 hours, so we’ll stop for lunch on the way.

On-arrival into Pokhara you’ll check into the guesthouse where you’ll be staying and then we will go sightseeing around lake side in Pokhara.

The following morning we will visit the World Peace Pagoda – an extremely significant cultural sight. You’ll have the chance to learn more about Buddhist culture, catch some incredible views of Pokhara’s lakeside and also lay eyes on the Annapurna range – which you’ll soon be climbing!

Later on we will head over to PataleChhango, commonly known as David’s fall. Legend has it a trekker named David was swimming in the lake and mysteriously disappeared. The interesting thing about the falls is that the water disappears after it reaches the ground not to emerge again until 500 metres further south!

The rest of your day can be spent chilling out or doing any last minute shopping.

Work Camp Group Day 13 - Back to Kathmandu
Today you’ll head back to Kathmandu. It’s time to say goodbye to the children and get your last glimpses of the wonderful Pokhara. The trip back to Pokhara offers some stunning views and is a great time to reflect on what you’ve experienced over the past weeks.

That evening we will have a group farewell dinner – all good things come to an end!

Meals included: Breakfast & Dinner

Day 14 – Air port Drop - Home time

Unfortunately, it’s time to wave goodbye to Nepal and head home or continue with your travels. Our local team will transfer you back to the airport in time for your flight.
